Spectroscopy Determination of Iron (III) Ion by Using Azo Dye Derivedfrom Mefeminamic Acid

The iron ion assay made use of a novel spectrophotometric technique. Forming separate and pure samples. The approach relies on the diazocoupling of iron ions with the synthesis reagent 4-((3-(2-((2,3-dimethylphenyl)amino)phenyl).The compound is named 5-mercapto-4H-1,2,4-triazol-4-yl)diazenyl.</textThe pH of -3-nitrophenol is 8, and it exhibits maximum absorption at a wavelength of 545 nm. There has been painstaking optimization of the variables affecting the reaction's completion. The attention range of Beer's law is (0.5-70.0 μg.mL-1) and it is valid within this range. The molar absorptivity of the substance is 23803.2 L.mol-1.cm-1. The detection limit was determined to be 0.0562 μg.mL-1, while the Sandell's sensitivity value was found to be 0.0431 μg.cm-2. A number of samples have had their iron ion concentrations determined using the suggested methods.
