Scientific Research Ethics

The Academic Science Journal (ASJ) is committed to ensuring that all submitted and published research is conducted in accordance with recognized ethical standards. Authors are responsible for ensuring that their studies comply with applicable institutional, national, and international regulations related to research ethics.

Research involving human participants, animals, biological materials, clinical data, personal data, environmental samples, or any sensitive information must include an appropriate ethics approval statement, where applicable. Authors must provide the name of the approving ethics committee or institutional review body, approval number, and date of approval when required.

If ethical approval is not required for a particular study, authors should clearly state this in the manuscript and provide a brief explanation where appropriate.

Responsibilities of Authors

Authors submitting manuscripts to ASJ must ensure that:

  • The research was conducted honestly, responsibly, and ethically.
  • All required ethical approvals were obtained before conducting the study.
  • Informed consent was obtained from participants where applicable.
  • Privacy, confidentiality, and data protection requirements were respected.
  • Animal studies, where applicable, complied with relevant ethical and welfare standards.
  • The manuscript does not contain fabricated, falsified, or misleading data.
  • Any potential ethical concern is clearly disclosed to the journal at the time of submission.

The editorial office may request copies of ethics approval documents, consent forms, or related evidence when necessary.

Scientific Research Ethics Committee

The Scientific Research Ethics Committee supports the journal in promoting responsible research conduct and assessing ethical issues related to submitted or published manuscripts when required.

The committee may provide advice on matters related to ethical approval, informed consent, research involving humans or animals, data privacy, publication misconduct, authorship concerns, conflicts of interest, and other research ethics issues.

The final editorial decision remains the responsibility of the Editor-in-Chief and the editorial board, in accordance with the journal’s editorial and publication ethics policies.
