Recognition & Acknowledgment
Reviewer Recognition and Acknowledgment
The Academic Science Journal (ASJ) highly values the essential contribution of peer reviewers in maintaining the quality, integrity, credibility, and scientific standards of the journal. Reviewers support the editorial process by providing expert, objective, constructive, and timely evaluations of submitted manuscripts.
ASJ extends its sincere appreciation to all reviewers who dedicate their time, expertise, and professional judgment to the peer-review process and contribute to the advancement of scholarly publishing.
Recognition of Reviewer Contributions
ASJ recognizes the valuable service of reviewers through the following mechanisms:
- Issuing official reviewer certificates upon request.
- Providing formal acknowledgment of reviewer service, where appropriate.
- Recognizing active reviewers on the journal website or in annual acknowledgment lists, subject to reviewer consent.
- Considering qualified and committed reviewers for future editorial roles, based on expertise, review quality, consistency, and ethical commitment.
Reviewer recognition is intended to acknowledge academic service while preserving the confidentiality and integrity of the peer-review process.
Academic and Professional Value of Reviewing
Serving as a reviewer for ASJ contributes to academic and professional development by:
- Supporting the quality and reliability of scientific research.
- Enhancing critical evaluation and editorial assessment skills.
- Strengthening the reviewer’s role as a subject-matter expert.
- Contributing to academic service and scholarly community engagement.
- Supporting ethical and responsible scientific publishing.
Where applicable, ASJ supports appropriate recognition of peer-review activities through academic profiles or external reviewer-recognition platforms, provided that such recognition does not disclose confidential manuscript information and is consistent with the journal’s peer-review policy.
Confidentiality and Ethical Standards
ASJ strictly protects the confidentiality of the peer-review process. Because the journal applies a double-blind peer-review system, reviewer identities and manuscript details must remain confidential.
Any public acknowledgment of reviewer contributions will be made only with reviewer consent and without linking reviewers to specific manuscripts. Reviewers must not disclose information about manuscripts they have reviewed or use unpublished data, ideas, or materials obtained during the review process for personal or professional advantage.
All reviewer recognition practices are conducted in accordance with the journal’s publication ethics policies and standards of responsible peer review.
Appreciation
The Editorial Board of ASJ expresses its sincere gratitude to all reviewers for their valuable contributions to the journal. Their expertise, commitment, and ethical service play a vital role in improving manuscript quality, supporting fair editorial decisions, and advancing scientific knowledge.
